This active optical cable (AOC) is the perfect solution to transfer large amounts of high-quality data over long distances and with virtually no loss. Thanks to the full metal housing, the cable is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Together with the CPR certification, this is the ideal cable to use in buildings and offices as a fixed construction between the source and the screen.
Because the connectors convert the electrical signals into optical signals (light), the signal can be sent over longer lengths than regular copper cables, but the cable is very thin and flexible. Also, there is no need to add an external power supply, which is common when using copper wire cables over long lengths.
