Warranty

General

These warranty conditions apply only to consumers. The warranty period commences on the day of purchase of the product and is 24 months. The warranty period is not extended by warranty work and replacement deliveries. Keep the proof of purchase safe; repair or replacement within the warranty is only possible with the original proof of purchase. Warranty and/or any complaints must be handled with the (web)shop where the product was purchased.

Excluded from warranty

There is no warranty for:

  • Damage due to external influences;
  • Careless damage;
  • Improper or incorrect use, including the use of leaking and/or incorrectly installed batteries and/or non-original parts;
  • Incorrect setup or installation, such as failure to follow safety regulations and/or instructions in manuals;
  • Changes, additions and/or extensions to the product;
  • Professional use;
  • Nedis products that were ordered outside the Nedis webshop (please contact the store or webshop where the product was purchased);
  • Repairs and/or adjustments carried out by parties other than Nedis.

At all times, the decision-making regarding the application of the warranty rests with Nedis.

Defective product

Do you have a defective product that was purchased from Nedis in the webshop and is within the warranty? Please contact our customer service.

Definitions

In these warranty conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:

  • Consumer : the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with Nedis;
  • Nedis : Nedis BV located in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Content and scope

If defects occur within the warranty period, Nedis will determine whether the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Replaced parts or products become the property of Nedis. Consumables and accessories (such as batteries, antennas, remote controls, cords, buttons, battery covers, etc.) are not covered by the warranty.

If it turns out that the defect is caused by improper or incorrect use, the warranty cannot be invoked. Nedis reserves the right to charge the repair and material costs. We will contact you in advance about this, so that you can decide for yourself.

Packaging and transport

Make sure you put the product in the original packaging. If this is not possible, make sure you provide good and solid replacement packaging. If it is transported without suitable packaging, the warranty will be void, as the transport risk lies with you. Do not send any extra items, such as DVDs, USB sticks, etc. We cannot accept responsibility for such items that are (unintentionally) lost.

Counterfeit products

When you buy our products directly from Nedis or from an authorized Nedis dealer, you are sure that you have a genuine Nedis product. Only these products are covered by the Nedis warranty.

When you purchase products from a non-authorized dealer, the product is only covered by Nedis' warranty if the dealer can demonstrate with a detailed invoice and proof of payment that the product was actually purchased from Nedis or an authorized dealer.

Nedis does not provide any warranty on counterfeit products. Reselling such products may lead to legal liability and/or criminal prosecution.
