Warranty
General
These warranty provisions apply only to consumers. The warranty period starts on the day of purchase of the product and lasts 24 months. The warranty period is not extended by warranty work and replacement deliveries. Keep the proof of purchase safe; repair or replacement under warranty is only possible with the original proof of purchase. Warranty and/or any complaints must be handled with the (online) store where the product was purchased.
Excluded from warranty
There is no warranty for:
- Damage due to external influences;
- Careless damages;
- Improper or incorrect use, including the use of leaking and/or incorrectly placed batteries and/or non-original parts;
- Incorrect setup or installation, such as failure to comply with safety regulations and/or instructions in manuals;
- Changes, insertions and/or expansions of the product;
- Professional use;
- Nedis products that were ordered outside the Nedis webshop (please contact the store or webshop where the product was purchased);
- Repairs and/or modifications carried out by parties other than Nedis.
The decision-making regarding the application of the warranty always rests with Nedis.
Defect product
Do you have a defective product that was purchased from Nedis in the webshop and is still under warranty? Then please contact our customer service.
Definitions
In these warranty provisions, the following is understood by:
- Consumer: the natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with Nedis;
- Nedis: Nedis B.V. located in ’s-Hertogenbosch.
Content and scope
If defects occur within the warranty period, Nedis determines whether the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Replaced parts or products become the property of Nedis. Consumables and accessories (such as batteries, antennas, remote controls, cords, buttons, battery covers, etc.) are not covered by the warranty.
If it turns out that the defect was caused by improper or incorrect use, the warranty cannot be invoked. Nedis reserves the right to charge for repair and material costs. We will contact you in advance about this so that you can decide for yourself.
Packaging and transport
Make sure to put the product in the original packaging. If this is not possible, ensure a good and sturdy replacement packaging. If transported without suitable packaging, the warranty will be void, as the transport risk lies with you. Do not include extra items, such as DVDs, USB sticks, etc. We cannot take responsibility for such items that may (unintentionally) get lost.
Counterfeit products
When you buy our products directly from Nedis or from an authorized Nedis dealer, you can be sure that you have a genuine Nedis product. Only these products are covered by the Nedis warranty.
When you buy products from a non-authorized dealer, the product is only covered by Nedis warranty if the dealer can prove with a detailed invoice and proof of payment that the product was actually purchased from Nedis or an authorized dealer.
Nedis does not provide a warranty on counterfeit products. Reselling such products may lead to legal liability and/or criminal prosecution.
