It is not pleasant to come home to a cold house or to come home and discover that the radiator has been on the whole time. But that is a thing of the past with this Smart Radiator Control. From now on you can turn your radiator on, off and set it remotely.

Thermostat:
Replace the traditional radiator knob with the Smart Radiator Knob and the self-learning thermostat will automatically switch the radiator on or off to maintain the desired room temperature.

Setting up schedules:
After installing the Nedis SmartLife app (and using a Nedis Zigbee Gateway: WIFIZBxxx) you can start setting schedules. Set schedules with your smartphone for a certain temperature at fixed times, parts of the day or days of the week, or simply set a certain temperature from your smartphone, no matter where you are.

Voice control:
By connecting to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa you can use voice control and voice commands to change the desired temperature. Set scenes in the Nedis SmartLife app and activate them with your smartphone or with a Siri shortcuts/Google/Alexa voice command.

Manual setting:
In addition to the smart functionalities, it is also possible to operate the smart radiator knob manually. Monitor and set the temperature on the LED screen or simply turn the knob to change the temperature, or choose one of the preset temperatures with the push of a button. This smart radiator knob also has a child lock that can be activated to prevent unwanted temperature changes.

Sensors:
Based on temperature changes in a room, the Smart Radiator Knob can be set to recognize whether a window or door has been open for some time. When you use this setting and the radiator notices this, it will automatically switch itself off to save energy. The radiator also notices when no hot water is supplied (e.g. because the boiler is off or not working) and will logically act accordingly.

Controlling multiple radiators simultaneously:
Control multiple radiators simultaneously so you never forget a single radiator or room. Using the smart radiator valve in combination with other Nedis SmartLife products (such as the Zigbee door/window sensor or the climate sensor) allows you to use the radiator even more accurately and energy-efficiently.

Installation:
The +E8Nedis Zigbee Gateway (WIFIZBxxx) is always needed when you want to install this product in the Nedis SmartLife app (Android / iOS). Furthermore, no extra skills or special knowledge are required to install the radiator. All you need is a screwdriver to loosen and replace your old traditional radiator valve and 2 AA batteries to supply the smart radiator valve with power, and just like your traditional radiator, the inflow of hot water is needed.
