This Nedis® gateway connects directly to your Wi-Fi, so no Ethernet cable is needed. Simply install it in your Nedis® SmartLife application and you can connect up to 50 Nedis® Zigbee products via one gateway.
Furthermore, you can access Nedis® SmartLife Bluetooth products (such as the LED strip, the water valve or the key finder) from anywhere, as long as the product is within Bluetooth® range of this gateway.
Each connected product will be displayed in the SmartLife application and can be included in automations as if it were directly connected to Wi-Fi. (Note: If you use multiple Bluetooth® products that do not support Bluetooth Mesh, there may be a slight delay, as only 2 Bluetooth® connections can be present at the same time.)
ZigBee is an alternative protocol to Wi-Fi that offers significantly lower power consumption. This allows small wireless sensors to operate for up to several years on a single battery.
