This alarm is operated by entering a four-digit pin code on the keypad located on its front.
The system has three operating modes.
The alarm mode is available in two settings.
1. Normally the alarm is set in 'Away' mode meaning an entry and exit delay is activated.
2. It's also possible to activate the alarm in 'Home' mode meaning it activates an exit delay of 15 seconds and has an entry delay of 0 seconds.
3. In 'Chime' mode a chime sounds immediately when the alarm is triggered.
In addition, by activating panic mode a loud alarm will sound right away to draw attention. 'Panic' can be activated while the alarm is in chime, away, home or even disarmed.
The alarm is operated by 3 LR03 (AAA) alkaline batteries and features an optional AC/DC adapter connection for a 4.5 V DC - 2.5 mm mono jack adapter plug to make sure you never run out of power.
