This Nedis SmartLife Full HD Rechargeable Pan & Tilt Outdoor Camera allows you to see what’s happening at home, whether there’s an immediate threat or if you simply want to feel completely safe. This 4G camera comes with great flexibility. It supports 4G LTE mobile which is ideal when there’s no Wi-Fi connection. Additionally, it’s equipped with a solar panel and battery, so it will work even when there’s no power outlet nearby. The waterproof housing (IP65) means the smart camera is protected against water and can therefore be mounted outside without any worries. This makes it the ideal camera for country houses, building sites, etc. so you can check on your property and record any sound or movement, whether you’re at home or away. The Nedis SmartLife app alerts you to any movement so you can take action in time.
Battery operated
Once the camera is charged, you are ready to use it as a security camera or to keep a close eye on your property. Depending on the number of recordings, it can last a few months on a single charge. On average, if it records 5 events per day, the battery will last 20 days. However, in combination with the solar panel, the battery is always charging. This can be affected by the temperature.
Full HD resolution
You can monitor and react to everything you see in real-time via the Nedis SmartLife app. The ability to pan 350° and tilt 70° offers more flexibility to get the perfect view. Thanks to the micro SD slot you can store recordings on a micro SD card of up to 128 GB (not included). It records in Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) for full clarity of the captured images. There is also an option to store the video footage in our app via a cloud solution (subscription based).
Responds to movement
The camera responds to movements, so when someone passes the 4G camera within the 120-degree field of view, it will react. Thanks to the AI Human Motion Detection, it analyzes the shapes of people, so you can set it to detect only the movements of people, saving you from unnecessary alarms. If you want, it will automatically start recording and you will also receive a push notification on your smartphone. The notifications will appear as pop-up messages on your smartphone without having to open the app. This allows you to be immediately informed and react very quickly. The multi-user function even allows several people to access the camera at the same time.
Night vision
The camera also sees clearly at night through the color night vision function with a range of approx. 10.0 meters. The camera has a spotlight function to see color at night thanks to the 4 pieces improved IR LEDs and 4 pieces spots.
Two-way communication
The 4G camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker with noise reduction. The two-way audio is ideal for talking to someone who is near the 4G camera. So you can talk to him or her even when you are not at home. The camera has a 120° wide-angle camera lens. This allows for a very large monitoring radius. In addition, the camera also supports an alarm and siren function to deter intruders.
Easy to set up
The 4G camera comes with an external antenna to improve the wireless 4G signal. The camera receives power via rechargeable batteries or can be charged with the included solar panel.
